Cardiovascular Conditions
- Untreated or uncontrolled hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Heart attack within the previous 6 months
- Congestive heart failure
- Unstable angina pectoris
- Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Valvular heart disease
- Pacemaker or cardiac defibrillator
- Recent heart surgery
Neurological Conditions
- Seizure disorders or epilepsy
- Stroke history
- Severe claustrophobia
Blood & Circulatory Conditions
- Severe anemia
- Cryoglobulinemia
- Sickle cell anemia
- Known circulatory dysfunction
- Blood clotting disorders
Cold-Related Conditions
- Cold allergy (cold urticaria)
- Raynaud's disease
- Cold-induced asthma
- Frostbite history on treatment areas
Pregnancy & Age
- Pregnancy
- Minors under 18 (require parental consent and medical clearance)
Other Medical Conditions
- Acute febrile respiratory conditions (fever, flu)
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Acute kidney or urinary tract diseases
- Chronic liver disease
- Severe hypothyroidism
- Vasculitis
- Open wounds or skin infections
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
